Hey now to all my watchers and friends out there I'm fresh off an awesome visit to the left coast and would have to say now I know why people enjoy it so much Its so beautiful. I had good part of 1 day to explore before I had to pick up friends in Palm Springs so I drove up the pacific coast highway from lax to Santa Barbra and the shoreline was so nice! I couldn't wait to have something to eat so I stopped in Oxnard for some Sushi It was wonderful I spent an hour in Santa Barbra before heading back across the state to the desert region of Palm Springs pick up friends who would attend Phish's Festival 8 in Indio with me,

The next morning we got right in to the venue which was a 1st for me Big cypress in Florida took 20n hours to enter about 12 hours to enter the It festival in Maine and the Coventry VT fest we never made it in due to massive rains any ways The polo grounds in Indio also home to the Coachella indie music festival were a beautiful place to camp for 4 days temps in the 90's and lows in the 30's was the crazy weather they had there so we froze at night

The Band was Incredible playing a total of 8 sets of music a grand total of 96 songs were played the Halloween costume for the band was Exile on Main St from the Rolling Stones and a early fun acoustic set on the final morning of the show with free coffee and doughnuts 40000 attended much lower than I though but I thought it was enough not having to wait to do anything Its totally a miniature city when the band wasn't playing for those of you phans who couldn't make it you totally missed out it was incredible putting it awfully close or better than Big cypress and that's saying alot and if you don't know who Phish is yet their music has sold out every major venue in the country with little or no airplay on the radio Its almost like the story of the pied piper once you hear them you will follow them where ever they go they touch every genre of music and played with so many greats of music but all in all its just a great time when they are playing . get a taste at Phish.com

On a sad note there was just a massacre at Ft hood Texas 13 died including an old neighbor of mine Lt. Col Juanita Warman who was an older sister of kids we used to play with often while growing up in Pittsburgh . Its so sad your not even safe on a military base from wacko wannabes and this story gets deeper as it could be a terrorist attack from within . May you RIP Col Warman thanks for your service.
